Wind speed and direction: north Westerly force 4

Sea temperature: 11 Degrees C - Winter suit and boots now, might need gloves on a windy / particually cold day

Tides: High tide was at 17.55am this morning at a height of 4.3m and again this afternoon at 18.12 at a height of 4.0m.

Surf report: Its looking ok a small clean longboard wave all day!!

Surf forecast: ! Should be the same tomorrow and then getting bigger for sunday monday!!

Today:
Rather cloudy at times with scattered showers, then becoming brighter this afternoon with most eastern areas dry, but with some showers continuing in western counties. Feeling increasingly cold with strong gusty northwesterly winds, but milder in the west.

Tonight:
Many eastern areas dry and clear with a frost forming. Western counties will be cloudier and milder with a little rain later. Fresh northwesterly winds.22

Saturday:
Rather cloudy with some light rain in western areas at first, but brighter and colder in the east. Generally turning brighter and colder in western areas later. Fresh northwesterly winds.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Rain preceded by snow will spread across the region through Sunday. Brighter with scattered showers on Monday, becoming wintry on Tuesday as cold northerly winds return.

East & West Wittering catch swells coming up the English Channel that make it past the Isle of Wight. A beach break, it works best at mid tide and is great for longboarding. It is a friendly, laid-back sort of place, convenient for the south east and London surfers.
