Mostly cloudy with occasional light rain and drizzle this morning. This afternoon patchy drizzle may linger along some western coasts and hills, but many places will become drier with even some bright or sunny intervals developing.

Tonight:
Generally cloudy, with further outbreaks of light rain or drizzle, especially later in the night and along western coasts and hills. However, some clear spells may develop across eastern areas.

Saturday:
Largely cloudy and dry, although outbreaks of light rain and drizzle will continue, especially through the morning. Some brighter spells may develop, with eastern areas likely to be favoured.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Rain quickly clearing on Sunday, then windy with sunshine and showers. Monday and Tuesday mostly dry, breezy with sunny periods.

Perranporth provides waves suitable for beginners to intermediates. Because the sandy beach is long it's rarely that crowded away from the town end. There are plenty of peaks throughout it length from the lefts at Droskyn to the long walling rights at Penhale.
