Big and onshore for the next week. A chance that the winds will go offshore on Sun morning for a short time. Head for breaks further south.

Strong northwesterly winds. Becoming much colder.

Today:
Generally cloudy through the morning with scattered showers, then becoming brighter this afternoon with most places dry. Isolated showers may affect coasts. Feeling increasingly cold with northwesterly winds strong to gale force at times.

Tonight:
Many places dry and clear overnight with a frost forming. Some showers may affect coastal areas where they will become wintry this evening. Strong northwesterly winds on coasts, lighter inland.

Saturday:
Inland areas will be largely dry and bright or sunny. Scattered showers will affect coastal areas where they will again be wintry. Northwesterly winds will be strong and gusty.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Rain preceded by snow will spread across the region later on Sunday. Brighter with scattered showers on Monday, becoming wintry on Tuesday as cold strong northerly winds return.

Cromer is located on the east coast of England and on the north coast of Norfolk. Surfing near the pier, there are short rights and lefts. East Runton is a mile further west, and is better known for the chalk and flint reef, just out from a sandy beach.
