Constantine Eyeball Surf Report
Constantine Surf Conditions 7.25 a.m. on Friday 21st November 2008

It's a grey and windy one this morning with a fresh and freshening north nor' wester blowing down the county. The swell is probably four foot but is blown to pieces and couldn't really look less inviting. Oh, and every forecast out there agrees that it's going to deteriorate through the day, getting quite chilly by tonight. So it's a good day to be starting out on a journey and now we wave bye bye to Ash and Dom as they head off to the airport for three months in americaland, assuming that they're allowed entry that is. So now there's not that many left to enjoy the impending winter perfection, which must by now be imminent, surely?

Forecast for Saturday 22nd November 2008:
Oh how I would love to believe that the wind will drop and swing around, that the temperature will rise and that the swell would push through. Unfortunately, this Saturday, reality is likely to be a chillier and choppier affair. There should be plenty of surf, probably in the four foot range but it is likely to be a messy and chopped up sort of scene. Mind you, the young guys have been all over it all week and have been using those sloppy and crumbly sections as much appreciated ramps to the air. Maybe that's why they're getting so good, by going in every day regardless of the conditions. Hmmm.

NOTE: The above data is for deep water ocean swells, and does not mean that waves at the beach will be that size or direction. It does however provide a valuable indication of the swell size, direction and winds for the next 72 hours. The most reliable indication of actual conditions is an Eyeball Surf Report, as on most of our surf report pages.

Constantine Bay over half a mile of sand at low tide. The northern section is Booby's and is separated from Constantine Bay itself as the tide comes in. Home to the reef, a peak and a pointbreak (on those rare occasions). All the breaks work through the tides except at high tide unless it's bigger (4 feet +).
