West Wales Surf Conditions:
 2ft messy
wind: 17 mph NW moderate onshore
Outlook: 2ft messy waves today with moderate onshore conditions. Won't change much all day. Similar 2ft conditions for the next few days. Strong onshores over the coming weekend with blown out messy waves -turning offshore on Monday/Tuesday..

Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain or drizzle today.

Today:
Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, although many central and southern areas will become dry this afternoon with perhaps some bright or sunny intervals developing.

Tonight:
Generally cloudy, with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle dying away only to be replaced by outbreaks of light rain or sleet, with the sleet especially up on high ground.

Saturday:
Starting with outbreaks of light rain or sleet, but most places will gradually become dry and brighter. However, a little light rain may persist along the west coast.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Rain quickly clearing east on Sunday, then windy with sunshine and showers. Monday and Tuesday most places dry with sunny periods, although isolated showers will affect western coasts.

Poppit Sands Unpredictable tides and currents make this simple stretch of the Cardigan coast quite dangerous at times. Fortunately there are excellent Life Guard facilities, warning flags fly and advice can be sort if needed. Poppit boasts a Blue Flag award.
