SELECT SURF REPORT:

Eyeball Surf Report for Brighton
Friday 7.50am: More of the same. More or less flat. Just very small wrap around waves from the brisk NW'ly winds. Becoming very cold over the weekend. A chance of a fun wave Sunday where there is a kink on the charts and winds may become a brisk westerly. The second half of next week is looking more positive. Hopefully we will get some waves into next weekend. Desperate? Check out the east coast this week..James ...www.sharkbait.co.uk

The west country / Devon and Cornwall surf forecast is looking like mushy onshore waves all weekend (check out www.sharkbaitwest.com).

NOTE: The above data is for deep water ocean swells, and does not mean that waves at the beach will be that size or direction. It does however provide a valuable indication of the swell size, direction and winds for the next 72 hours. The most reliable indication of actual conditions is an Eyeball Surf Report, as on most of our surf report pages.

Brighton - Cornish surfers will be surprised at just how good the Brighton/Shoreham area can get. Unfortunately it has no real consistency. A general wave height is given but this can vary between the east of Brighton, the piers & Shoreham and Southwick to the west.
